Christian Cage explained his actions from last week’s episode of AEW Dynamite on tonight’s (June 22) episode of the show.
Christian explained that he was still angry at Jungle Boy for eliminating him in the Casino Battle Royal at last year’s Double or Nothing pay-per-view event.
Christian said that match cost him a guaranteed championship match, which cost him a championship pay check, and that he only came back to make a lot of money.
When discussing the segment with Jungle Boy’s mother, Christian said that she hoped Christian was Jungle Boy’s father, but he isn’t, because Jungle Boy’s father is dead.
Luchasaurus then came out to attack Christian, who told him to ‘remember what happened to Marko’, and telling him they need to talk, before they exited the ring together.
