In honor of AEW making their Canadian debut, Christian Cage talks about what it means to be apart of the AEW roster.
In an interview with the National Post, Christian Cage took a break from his character’s insulting antics to discuss the significance of AEW finally heading up North.
Christian Cage shared what it meant for AEW to be debuting in Toronto, saying:
“It’s huge, from a personal standpoint and from a company standpoint, for us to break this new ground in a new country. It’s exciting to be able to get there and be able to bring the AEW product to the Canadian audience who supported us from the very start.”
Adding what it means to him to be on the roster and hopefully being apart of building something great, Cage said:
“Taking this company that’s still in its infancy and helping it grow, watch it grow, be part of it grow. I think it’s a good mix of veteran presence and up-and-coming young talent. All of the ingredients are there to to be successful. I just wanted to be a part of building something great.”
Cage is likely to be at ringside tonight for a bout months in the making for AEW’s Canadian debut.
After a shocking betrayal then seemingly reunion and then repeat betrayal, Jungle Boy Jack Perry finally gets his chance for vengeance on former best friend Luchasaurus.
