Ciampa has shared a heartwarming reunion selfie with Johnny Gargano, following his former teammate’s WWE return.
Gargano made a surprise appearance on the August 22 edition of Raw, cutting a passionate promo, before dropping Theory with a superkick.
Ciampa has now taken to Instagram with a few photos from the night, with his last being a photo of himself and Gargano backstage.
He captioned this specific photo:
“Wait. Quick photo. Where’s Bobby? This isn’t glorious at all. Okay. See ya.”
This was in reference to when the former DIY stablemates would #GloriousBomb Bobby (Robert) Roode, sneaking up on the star while playing his ‘Glorious Domination’ theme music.
Ciampa and Gargano last shared the ring together at NXT WarGames 2021, teaming with Pete Dunne (Butch) & LA Knight (Max Dupri) to battle the team of Bron Breakker, Carmelo Hayes, Grayson Waller & Tony D’Angelo.
Gargano hasn’t returned to the ring since. His Raw appearance was his first WWE segment since finishing up with the company in December 2021.
The former NXT Champion has now officially joined the Raw roster as a babyface.
