Another former WWE star has pulled out of the inaugural show for World Entertainment Series (WES), the former Author’s of Pain’s new promotion.
The show, originally scheduled for June 4, will take place on July 9 in Nottingham, England.
Several stars booked for the first show previously announced that they were unable to make the July 9 event, including Tenille Dashwood (fka WWE’s Emma), Adam Scherr (Braun Strowman) and Chelsea Green.
It now appears that CJ Perry, fka Lana, will no longer be appearing at the event. Perry was originally slated to face Lina Fanene (Nia Jax) for the promotion’s Women’s World Championship, however the promotion’s site now lists the title bout as Lina Fanene vs TBD.
Here’s the current line-up for the show:
- Alistair Overeem vs. Moose – World Championship
- Lina Fanene (Nia Jax) vs. TBD – Women’s World Championship
- The Legion of Pain (Authors of Pain) vs. BT Gunn & Kez Evans – World Tag Team Championship
- Steph de Lander (Persia Pirotta) & Anastasia vs. She Wolves – Women’s Tag Team Championship
- Samuray del Sol (Kalisto) vs. Lince Dorado
- Dean Muhtadi (Mojo Rawley) vs. Damo Mackle (Killian Dain)
- Pre-Show: Eric Young vs. Zac Zodiac
- Pre-Show: Levis Valenzuela Jr. (No Way Jose) vs. Jody Fliesh
