On the heels of his Ring of Honor World Championship win, Claudio Castagnoli has spoken out about William Regal departing AEW.
Nick Hausman from Wrestling Inc asked Castagnoli about the future of the Blackpool Combat Club.
Claudio Castagnoli responded:
“William Regal is somebody that you never stop learning from. His last lesson he taught us all was a very valuable lesson and as Mox said last Wednesday, BCC is here to stay.
“Now with Wheeler and I winning these [titles] it really cemented that the Blackpool Combat Club is here to stay.
“And the fun part is, now you have to watch and see what happens next.”
Claudio Castagnoli captured a double win at Ring of Honor Final Battle as he won not only the ROH World Championship but avoided another certain disaster.
Should Castagnoli have lost at ROH Final Battle, he would have been forced to join the Jericho Appreciation Society.
Elsewhere on Final Battle, there were multiple title changes including an AEW star gaining a championship while others lost theirs.
