On December 9, Wyatt Sicks faced The Final Testament & The Miz in an eight-man tag team match on WWE Raw in Wichita, Kansas.
Highlights from the match can be seen below this news story with a returning Paul Ellering helping The Final Testament & The Miz score the win.
Eagle-eyed fans of CM Punk, however, may have caught a glimpse at the match in the hours before the show went on the air.
CM Punk shared a short video to his Instagram Stories showing the star signing autographs backstage at the Intrust Bank Arena.
While that isn’t an unusual occurrence, the TV screen in the background did show something unexpected.
As can be seen below, the TV screen appears to be showing a rehearsal for the Wyatt Sicks match later that evening.
As for Punk himself, Seth Rollins addressed the comments made earlier in the evening where he was called “the second string” and advised to sit back on the bench.
With Rollins focusing on CM Punk, it would be Sami Zayn who would bring a moment of clarity for The Visionary, as can also be seen below this news story.
