Yesterday (April 17) would have been the 68th birthday of the late great ‘Rowdy’ Roddy Piper, who passed away in 2015.
Many names from throughout the wrestling world paid tribute to the Hot Rod yesterday, including current AEW star CM Punk.
Punk shared a photo of him and Piper together from an Old School Raw episode in 2014, but he had made one small change to the photo.
The original photograph pictured Punk and Piper together in the ring, with Punk holding the WWE United States Championship. However, Punk added the same image to his Instagram story, but with the United States title edited to be the AEW World Championship.
