Ahead of tonight’s AEW Dynamite (March 22) was an appearance by CM Punk blocked (quite literally)?
In the opening moments of tonight’s AEW Dynamite, it was revealed that the Young Bucks (Nick and Matt Jackson) had suffered a “brutal attack,” and were being transported to the hospital via ambulance.
Notably in the moments filmed in the parking lot area, fans perhaps noticed that there were certainly a lot of items stacked against the AEW production truck.
Interestingly, any appearance of CM Punk (including on the side of the production truck!) was quite literally blocked as there were tables and seemingly a large piece of cardboard covering his face in the scene.
According to “a text from Brandon Cutler,” Excalibur on commentary noted that the Bucks reported from their hospital rooms that the Blackpool Combat Club was responsible for the attacks.
Left behind at the arena was Kenny Omega ahead of his big dream match against El Hijo Del Vikingo.
CM Punk has not been seen on AEW television since All Out 2022 and the surrounding events.
