CM Punk Brawls With WWE Star At Raw

Tonight’s WWE Raw opened with CM Punk off the back of his victory alongside the OG Bloodline at Survivor Series ‘WarGames’.

After reminding everyone that he has a favor from Paul Heyman saved up, Punk seemed very intent on moving on past his Bloodline allegiance.

Punk began outlining his plan to head to WrestleMania, whether that be via the Royal Rumble, Elimination Chamber, or another route.

However, he was cut off by the same man that cut him off after Bad Blood – Seth Rollins.

Rollins and Punk already had plenty of issues, but Punk teaming with Roman Reigns didn’t exactly help.

As Punk and Rollins were in the very early stages of a mid-ring brawl, Jey Uso and Sami Zayn ran out to separate them.

Rollins then had harsh words for Jey Uso due to his friendship with Punk, which is when Zayn told Rollins he has no right to talk to Jey in the way that he did.

Ultimately, that resulted in a war of words between Rollins and Zayn which led to a match between the two of them being made tonight on WWE Raw.

The bigger story though is the renewal of the CM Punk/Seth Rollins issues and the fact they were brought up as Punk was discussing his road to WrestleMania.

Punk vs Rollins was initially supposed to be the Mania 40 night one main event earlier this year.
