CM Punk Sends ‘Heartfelt Congratulations’ To WWE Star After Madison Square Garden Show

The WWE Live Holiday Tour rolled up to Madison Square Garden on December 26 with CM Punk making an appearance after the main event.

Punk appeared in a towel and shower cap to save Damian Priest from a beatdown after his steel cage match with GUNTHER for the WWE World Heavyweight Champion.

Footage has now emerged of what went on after the show ended, with CM Punk and Damian Priest once again featured.

The footage can be seen below this news story, having been shared on Twitter, with Punk saying:

“I apologize. I know, I was only a little faster.

“Listen, ladies and gentlemen, my heartfelt congratulations to Damian Priest, born and raised in New York City. By the way of Puerto Rico, which is near and dear to my heart.

To be a kid, growing up, watching, loving, wrestling, sitting in these very stands to main eventing Madison Square Garden.

“This is Damian Priest’s house, this is Damian Priest’s microphone.”

WWE Raw returns to Madison Square Garden in March 2025, marking the first time the Monday night show has been there since 2022.
