CM Punk Addresses Hollywood Plans & Potentially Working With Batista WWE

WWE’s CM Punk has addressed the possibility of working on a Hollywood movie with Dave Bautista, revealing they’re in something of a professional race.

With Dave Bautista continuing to have a successful Hollywood career, CM Punk has revealed details of a race with the former WWE star.

According to CM Punk, the pair wants to do a romantic comedy movie, with a race to see who lands a role first.

CM Punk made the revelation during an interview with Deadline, believing they’d ‘kill the genre’, explaining:

“Me and Dave Bautista are trying to do a rom-com, maybe not together, but it’s a race. He really wants to do one, and I really want to do one too.

“Dave and I are two emotional b**ches. We would absolutely kill that genre, guaranteed, him especially.”

While CM Punk doesn’t appear to have a romcom lined up, he did state that he’s dying to work with Batista, and pitched a potential moneyspinner of an idea, saying:

“I’m dying to work with him. What if we were romantically involved? Who’s not going to pay to see that?”

During the interview, CM Punk revealed he has two projects in his future, including a movie called Night Patrol, stating:

” I have two projects coming down the line that I’m very excited about. One is the TV show Revival that will air on Syfy, and a really, really fun movie called Night Patrol, written and directed by Ryan Prows. I don’t want to give away too much but it’s night patrol, LAPD, Bloods, Crips, vampires.”

The Deadline editor confirmed that, according to their sources, Punk will be playing a vampire in Night Patrol.

Revival is based on the Image Comics comic book series of the same name, focusing on the resurrection of the recently deceased.
