CM Punk dropped a huge AEW tease on commentary for a Cage Fury Fighting Championships event, fuelling speculation about his wrestling return.
At CFFC 99 on August 14, commentators CM Punk and John Morgan, had an intriguing exchange. After Morgan emphasised that one of the competitors inside the cage was “returning to his wrestling”, Punk replied:
“Yeah, he’s looking All Elite right now.”

Punk is rumored to make an appearance on next Friday’s episode of AEW Rampage. According to the former WWE Champion, a screening of the third episode of Heels takes place on the same night, which sounds much more important.
AEW star Malakai Black has commented on CM Punk speculation, noting that the rumors have resulted in a “buzz” in the AEW locker room.
