First Look At WWE’s CM Punk In Upcoming Horror Series

A first look has emerged for the new SYFY series ‘Revival’, starring WWE star CM Punk, which is set to premiere in June.

The series is based on the Image Comics title of the same name and follows a diverse cast of characters as they adjust to the recently deceased rising from the grave.

CM Punk will have a recurring role in the series that premieres on SYFY on June 12.

The WWE star has a brief appearance in the trailer, speaking into a telephone, ominously saying:

“Revival Day gave us a second chance, and I’m not going to let that go to waste.”

Per the official synopsis for ‘Revival’:

“On one miraculous day in rural Wisconsin, the recently deceased suddenly rise from their graves. But this is no zombie story as the ‘revived’ appear and act just like they once were.

“When local Officer and single mother Dana Cypress is unexpectedly thrown into the center of a brutal murder mystery of her own, she’s left to make sense of the chaos amidst a town gripped by fear and confusion where everyone, alive or undead, is a suspect.”

‘Revival’ stars Melanie Scrofano, Romy Weltman, David James Elliott, and Andy McQueen and was created by Aaron B. Koontz and Luke Boyce.
