The main event of the second episode of AEW Collision was officially announced on last night’s (June 21) episode of Dynamite.
The opening match saw the Gunns defeat the Hardys in tag team action, thanks to interference from Bullet Club Gold’s Jay White and Juice Robinson.
After the match, the Gunns, White and Robinson attacked the Hardys, before FTR, Ricky Starks and finally CM Punk ran out to make the save.
Punk took the mic after the segment, challenging the team to an eight-man tag team match on this week’s episode of Collision.
After the show, AEW uploaded a video of a promo from Punk, FTR and Starks, addressing their opponents on this week’s show.
This week’s Collision, which will be the final show before Forbidden Door, will also see the Ace of New Japan Pro Wrestling Hiroshi Tanahashi in action, when he battles Swerve Strickland in a first-time-ever match.
The ratings for the debut episode of AEW Collision have been revealed, which you can find here.
