CM Punk Gives Chicago Fans Generous Gift After WWE NXT

CM Punk was the guest referee during the WWE NXT debut on the CW Network officiating Ethan Page vs. Trick Williams.

The celebrations for the fans in attendance at the Allstate Arena in Chicago didn’t stop when WWE NXT went off air, though.

Footage was shared by the WWE NXT Twitter of CM Punk in the ring with the Williams, as can be seen below, saying:

“I don’t want to cut the champ’s celebration short, but I gotta tell you a little secret.

“On your way out, ladies and gentlemen, get yourself some Lou Malnati’s pizza on us.

“Share with your friends, share with your neighbors, remember I love you.

“We are…”

At which point Trick Williams would complete the familiar phrase with a definitive “NXT.”

Lou Malnati’s Pizzeria has been serving deep-dish pizza to the residents of Chicago since 1971.

Last night’s CW debut saw new belts unveiled for the NXT and NXT Women’s Championship.

The episode also saw the return of Cora Jade during the NXT Women’s Championship match between Roxanne Perez and Giulia.

The loss of his NXT Championship hasn’t gone down particularly well with Ethan Page who fired shots at Punk on Twitter afterwards.
