CM Punk parodied John Cena’s ‘Dr of Thuganomics’ persona during today’s June 27 episode of WWE SmackDown in Riyadh.

Punk and Cena are set for a match with Cena’s Undisputed WWE Championship on the line at Night of Champions tomorrow.

Ahead of that match, they came face-to-face on SmackDown, but it might not have been what fans were expecting.

After Cena made his usual entrance, his old Basic Thuganomics entrance music played, and out came CM Punk.

Punk was dressed similar to how Cena would dress as the Dr of Thuganomics about 20 years ago, and grabbed a mic on his way into the ring.
