Triple H Reacts To CM Punk Dr Of Thuganomics Parody

WWE CCO Triple H has reacted to CM Punk’s parody of Dr of Thuganomics John Cena on the June 27 SmackDown episode.

Saturday’s Night of Champions premium live event will see CM Punk challenge for John Cena’s WWE Championship.

With Cena cutting a promo heavily inspired by Punk’s 2011 pipe-bomb on the June 20 edition of SmackDown, Punk returned the favor on the most recent episode, showing up as the Dr of Punkanomics.

In the style of Dr of Thuganomics John Cena, CM Punk fired shots at the WWE Champion with a rap, with lyrics you can read at this link.

Triple H has now taken to Twitter to reference this segment, writing:

PunkLife… It’s basic thuganomics… #Smackdown tonight

Friday’s SmackDown episode saw a title change take place, with Giulia defeating Zelina Vega to become the third-ever WWE Women’s US Champion.

This SmackDown episode emanated from the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, the same venue which will host Night of Champions.
