All Elite Wrestling (AEW) has taken to social media to announce a match for CM Punk for tomorrow night’s December 1 Dynamite.
A week after beating QT Marshall, Punk’s next opponent will be Lee Moriarty.
Punk’s record currently stands at 7-0 with all of them being singles matches, while Moriarty’s is 2-6, with a singles record of 1-4.
Punk’s next big match will be MJF, but it seems pretty clear that AEW will be waiting until a big show to do that match rather than just any old episode of Dynamite.
The card for tomorrow night’s Dynamite in Atlanta, Georgia is now as follows:
- CM Punk vs. Lee Moriarty
- Bryan Danielson vs. Alan Angels
- Kris Statlander vs. Ruby Soho
- Cody Rhodes vs. Andrade El Idolo – Street Fight
- Billy & Colten Gunn vs. Darby Allin & Sting
Last week, after @CMPunk’s war of words with @the_MJF, Punk beat @QTMarshall in the ring, taking his record to 7-0. He aims to test himself against the best young wrestlers in AEW: TOMORROW it’s @CMPunk vs @theleemoriarty LIVE on #AEWDynamite @ 8pm ET/7pm CT/6pm MT/5pm PT on TNT! pic.twitter.com/BBz6KmpZWg
