Here’s the updated card for the Wednesday, October 27 episode of AEW Dynamite, including CM Punk making his Dynamite debut.
Sammy Guevara will defend the TNT Title against Ethan Page. There were a lot of convoluted stipulations added to this, but the gist is that it’s building towards a five-on-five tag match at Full Gear with Inner Circle against Men of the Year & American Top Team.
One of the stipulations was that if Page wins, Guevara has to leave the Inner Circle, which was really unnecessary and telegraphs a Guevara win.
As well as that, the Dark Order team of Colt Cabana, Evil Uno, Stu Grayson and John Silver will face the SuperKliq and Kenny Omega of the Elite in an eight-man tag match.
Also on this coming Wednesday’s show, Jon Moxley will take on Pres10 Vance in the AEW World Title Eliminator tournament, with the winner advancing to face Orange Cassidy in the semi-final.
Speaking of tournaments, Hikaru Shida will face Serena Deeb in the first round of the TBS Championship tournament and a rematch from a few weeks ago. The winner will face Nyla Rose in the quarter-final.
And in a match set up tonight, CM Punk is set for his first ever Dynamite match as he will face Bobby Fish. Punk saved Anthony Greene from a post-match beatdown at the hands of Fish after Fish won a match between the two.
