When CM Punk lifts weights he likes to answer questions on Twitter. Sometimes, those questions yield very interesting answers.
This was one of those times as Punk was asked who he would like to work with in AEW if he came back. He provided a whopping five names and none of them were the major names you might expect. Instead of top names like Kenny Omega and the Young Bucks, Punk named Will Hobbs, Darby Allin, Brian Pillman Jr., Ricky Starks, and Jungle Boy.
I see five guys that have potential. Hobbs, Darbs, Pillman, Starks, Jungle Boy. And that’s not to say there are others, but those guys stick out.

CM Punk did mention that there were others that he would like to work with as well. However, the names provided are the ones that stick out the most. It goes without saying that Punk has never worked with any of the names provided.
Punk has not wrestled since leaving WWE seven years ago. He recently celebrated the anniversary on Twitter as well. He did return to WWE-related programming in 2019, appearing on Fox’s WWE Backstage, but an in-ring return has yet to occur.
