CM Punk Posts Cryptic Support For AEW Collision AEW

CM Punk has shown some support (albeit cryptic) for AEW Collision ahead of the Saturday show’s Chicago debut.

While he still hasn’t been announced for an AEW return, former AEW World Champion CM Punk encouraged fans to pick up their tickets for AEW Collision’s debut episode taping in Chicago.

While he didn’t tag himself, he did tag a variety of other talent whilst using one very familiar face to stand in for every tag – Danhausen.

CM Punk shared an IG story after AEW’s pay-per-view, Double or Nothing where a Collision promo poster had not just been tagged with a variety of stars already featured on the poster, hilariously most of their faces were covered by different pics of Danhausen.

Interestingly, House of Black members Brody King, Malakai Black and Buddy Matthews weren’t covered by a Danhausen face but Julia Hart was.

CM Punk clearly knows who the true needle mover in AEW is: it is Danhausen!

Throwing also a link to the official Ticketmaster page to pick up tickets to the Collision debut episode, it seems CM Punk is supportive of the outing at least.

Also tagging the United Center, the venue for the big AEW Collision debut episode, it clearly seems that Punk is helping support in drumming up ticket sales on behalf of some of his noted pals from AEW.

Punk was originally set to be involved on all the advertising for Collision when it was first announced, but his relationship with AEW hit a snag over the status of Ace Steel right before.

However, with Chicago hosting the debut episode, it looks like things are back on track.

Elsewhere after Double or Nothing, CM Punk was spotted with a top Champion in AEW out and about. Click here to read more about that.

While it certainly seems like CM Punk will be back for AEW Collision, alongside other announced stars for the Saturday outing Andrade el Idolo, Miro, Thunder Rosa, Scorpio Sky and House of Black, Tony Khan continued to state that he could not comment on Punk’s status after Double Or Nothing.

Elsewhere in the AEW Double or Nothing post-show media scrum, Tony Khan shared an interesting detail about a recent conversation with a professional wrestling legend.
