Mark Carrano was sacked by WWE last night after Mickie James posted a photo of a trash bag full of her belongings that WWE sent her following her release last week.
Carrano was a big name in the talent liaison team, who was fired, according to Triple H’s Twitter account (although Trips didn’t name him), for “disrespectful treatment” towards recently released stars.
Gail Kim, Maria Kanellis and Jillian Hall have all pointed out that the trash bag has been part of WWE’s release procedure for years, and Kim suggested there was no point firing one person for an entire company’s problem.
CM Punk also responded to Triple H’s tweet with an “if you say so” tweet. Punk was famously released by WWE on his wedding day, so perhaps he thinks it’s a bit rich for a company such as WWE to talk about disrespect.

According to a report from PWInsider, Carrano isn’t the only person to have been released from WWE’s head office staff, as it’s thought Vice President Nick Khan is starting to fill the boardroom with his “own people”.
