Last night on WWE Backstage, Ryan Satin confirmed that WWE had managed to convince former Intercontinental Champion John Morrison to rejoin the company. Morrison has reportedly signed a multi-year deal.
Despite not appearing on last night’s show, WWE Backstage’s special analyst CM Punk still commented on the big news coming out of the FS1 show.
Immediately following last night’s show, Morrison took to Twitter to say that he is happy to be back in the ring with the most talented workers in the world.
Confirmed ✅ I have signed with @WWE – I’ve never been as good at anything as I am at wrestling & I can’t wait to stand again in a #WWE ring opposite the most talented people in the business‼️
— John Morrison (@TheRealMorrison) December 4, 2019
CM Punk clearly took issue with Morrison’s claim, reminding the former Impact and Lucha Underground star that the most talented worker in the world, in his opinion, isn’t signed to WWE.
Dude, @WillOspreay is in New Japan.

Responding to Morrison’s initial tweet about being able to work with the most talented wrestlers in the world, Punk said that Will Ospreay is in NJPW.
After the year he has had, it is hard to argue that Will Ospreay isn’t one of the best wrestlers in the world. Ospreay has had a whole host fantastic matches in 2019.
Do you think CM Punk is right in saying Will Ospreay is one of the most talented wrestlers in the world? Let us know on Twitter or Facebook.
