CM Punk Reveals What It Would Take To Get Him To Wrestle Again

It’s been at least a couple of months since CM Punk fans got over-excited about a potential return, but don’t worry, we’ve got you covered.

Appearing on Renee Young’s new Oral Sessions podcast, which you should definitely check out by the way, Punk explained what it would take for him to get back in the ring.

“Without wanting to insult anybody on either side of the fence, any WWE talent or AEW talent, it would take above all an interesting scenario. A story that would be fun to tell. Also, just the stupidest amount of money. But they could save themselves a whole lot of money if they just presented a fun storyline. Now, what that is, I don’t know. I’m a pretty picky guy, especially at this point.”

A lot of money and a fun storyline…sounds like Nia Jax is going to be putting Punk through a table pretty soon in that case. Vince certainly seems to think that’s fun, and he’s got a lot of money. Problem solved.

It is generally thought that a Punk return would happen in AEW rather than WWE, as it’s common knowledge that Vince is still very opposed to Punk getting anywhere near his ring.
