CM Punk Says NXT Should Be Embarrassed Pat McAfee Is A Better Promo Than Them

There is no doubt Pat McAfee has impressed during his time in NXT. His debut match against Adam Cole was a very impressive first match, but his promos have been even better. So much so that they have caught the attention of CM Punk.

On Twitter, Punk said that everyone else in NXT should be embarrassed that McAfee is a better promo than them. Here is the tweet:

A lot of it has to do with circumstance, but everyone else on the show(s) should feel embarrassment, and subsequently USE said feeling to better themselves, at the fact that @PatMcAfeeShow is a better promo than everyone on the show(s).

CM Punk also went on to clarify that the circumstances he was talking about were NXT talent being “brainwashed” into cutting promos the WWE way.

Correct. Like I said…circumstances.

Pat McAfee will enter WarGames for the first time along with his faction this Sunday. He will team with Pete Dunne, Oney Lorcan and Danny Burch to take on the Undisputed Era at NXT TakeOver WarGames.

CM Punk most recently appeared on WWE Backstage on Fox prior to the show’s cancelation.
