AEW has announced that CM Punk will make his first appearance inside Daily’s Place on tonight’s (December 29) New Year’s Smash episode of AEW Dynamite.
Daily’s Place became AEW’s home during the pandemic era before AEW went back on the road in July. Punk made his debut the following month in Chicago at the United Center.
Punk has been announced for tonight’s show, where he will speak to the AEW fans following his, Darby Allin and Sting’s victory over MJF and FTR on last week’s Holiday Bash show.

AEW has also confirmed a ten-man tag team match pitting the Lucha Bros, Christian Cage and Jurassic Express against FTR, Matt Hardy and Private Party will take place on the show.
