CM Punk has hit out at fans who have waited to meet wrestlers at the airport during the COVID-19 pandemic in the hope of securing an autograph.
Punk took to Twitter to urge fans to stop waiting for wrestlers after they land. Warning for explicit language.
Still in a pandemic. If you’re waiting at an airport to get stuff signed, you need to stop doing that shit.

A fan then pointed out to Punk that he jumped into the crowd during his AEW debut, to which an obviously irate Punk responded:
Sure is me, you cunt. At a show. Post vax, pre omicron, had to show proof of vax to gain entrance. NOT STALKING ANYONE AT AN AIRPORT OR A HOTEL. How stupid are you? https://t.co/5mEseS94kR

Whichever side of the coin you fall on, it’s probably better to give wrestlers space, especially when they have a reasonable expectation of privacy at an airport.
The risk for wrestlers is already higher than average, and there is no sense in making it even higher.
