Wrestling legend Sting made headlines after this week’s AEW Dynamite for his very impressive performance in the show’s main event, which saw him tag with Darby Allin to face the Acclaimed.
The 62-year-old was widely praised by fans and critics, and received a special mention from CM Punk, who took to Twitter to heap praise on the Icon.
Sting is amazing. Amazing in multiple decades. Not easy to do, but you couldn’t tell by watching him. Makes it look effortless. Sting is AMAZING.

It seems Punk’s words meant a lot to Sting, who also took to Twitter to personally thank him.

Both CM Punk and Sting remain undefeated in AEW, and many now feel as though Sting and tag partner Darby Allin deserve a shot at the AEW tag team championship, currently held by Jurassic Express.
