A current champion on the WWE NXT brand has called out CM Punk, following Punk’s recent comments about male talent on the developmental roster.
During the ESPN WrestleMania 41 Reaction video, CM Punk noted that he believes if you’re a guy on the main roster, you’re not so worried when looking down at the men’s division in NXT.
He went onto note that by comparison, female main roster stars will be motivated to step their game up by the rising stars in the NXT women’s division.
NXT Heritage Cup Champion Noam Dar has now reacted to these comments from CM Punk.
Calling “Pepsi” out for a match, Dar took to Twitter to write:
Hey Pepsi I’m back now so let’s find out.
Dar returned to the ring on the April 22 NXT episode, defeating Lexis King for the NXT Heritage Cup.
This was Dar’s first match in eleven months, with Dar written off TV in May 2024 due to a legitimate leg injury.
CM Punk last wrestled in the main event of WrestleMania 41 Night One, where he and Roman Reigns lost to Seth Rollins after Rollins aligned with Paul Heyman.
