WWE Hall of Famer has been rather outspoken with his criticisms of AEW’s product in the recent months, which has led to a lot of discourse online.
A clip of Bischoff’s podcast was shared to his Twitter account last night (May 9), where he spoke about AEW’s stagnant growth, and how he believes they would grow more by catering to ‘casual’ fans.
When an AEW fan responded to the clip, Punk weighed in on Bischoff’s comments, saying:
Wrestling twitter needs to stop amplifying all the old head bad faith bad take carny dipshits. They had their moment in the sun. Let them die in the dark with their ego podcasts. Quote me.
This discourse comes off the heels of AEW Rampage scoring it’s lowest ever viewership number last Friday in their early start time of 5:30pm.
