CM Punk Uses Simpsons Meme After WWE MSG Towel Incident

CM Punk came to the rescue of Damian Priest wearing nothing but a towel and shower cap at the Madison Square Garden WWE Live show.

With Priest being on the losing end of his steel cage match against GUNTHER last night, Dominik Mysterio and Ludwig Kaiser both attacked him post-match.

Thankfully, CM Punk was able to make it to the ring, despite being seemingly part way through a shower.

In the wake of the towel incident, Punk has shared a meme to his Instagram story featuring Homer Simpson.

The story can be seen below this news story along with Punk’s caption that reads:

“Me when Nick Khan and Jack Tunney called me just now”

The meme in question is from the 1994 episode of The Simpsons ‘Bart Gets Famous’ with Homer stating:

“You’ll have to speak up, I’m wearing a towel.”

Nick Khan is the President of WWE and a director of TKO while Jack Tunney was the storyline president of WWF from 1984 to 1995.
