CM Punk Addresses Potential WWE Retirement Plans WWE

CM Punk has commented on potential WWE retirement plans, sharing an update on plans for his in-ring future.

It has been confirmed that CM Punk will headline WrestleMania 41 Night 1, with the former WWE Champion set to face off against Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins on April 19.

While a main event hasn’t yet been confirmed for WrestleMania 41 Night 2, many are expecting that night to end with John Cena challenging for Cody Rhodes’ WWE Championship in Cena’s final WrestleMania match ever.

With John Cena currently on his retirement tour, CM Punk has revealed whether or not he has been thinking about his own retirement.

Speaking with Alistair McGeorge for Metro, Punk noted that with the way the business has changed, he doesn’t know where he’ll be when his career ends.

Noting that he’s not thinking about the end of his in-ring run, Punk said:

“No, because you never know what’s going to happen. If you would ask me when I was 26 if I would be wrestling when I was 46, I would have been like, ‘No way.’

“The business has changed so much, the miles that we put on our bodies for years and years and years, and now we’re here, and we’re wrestling maybe once a month, we’re doing one show a week.”

A top star who currently doesn’t have a match set for WrestleMania 41 is Randy Orton, who was originally set to face Kevin Owens before Owens had to withdraw due to a neck injury.
