CM Punk Reunites With Former WWE Faction Member WWE

CM Punk has been seen reuniting with a member of the Straight Edge Society but sadly not on WWE television.

The Straight Edge Society was a shortlived faction in WWE, debuting in November 2009 and disbanding in September of the following year.

Originally led by CM Punk with Luke Gallows, Serena Deeb would be added to the collective with Joey Mercury being the final member.

Recently, Punk, Gallows and Karl Anderson of The OC were all enjoying a Weiner’s Circle in Chicago, with Punk sharing a photo of the three together.

The photo, which can be seen below this news story, was shared on Punk’s Instagram account.

The Chicago-based eating venue is described on its official website as:

The Wiener’s Circle has been serving up its signature blend of Char Dogs, Cheddar Fries, and Verbal Abuse in Chicago’s Lincoln Park Neighborhood for 40 years.

Now with a new bar, you can grab a beer while you wait for your dogs.

Prior to being a member of the Straight Edge Society, Gallows was better known as Festus in WWE, playing an ‘unresponsive’ character with mental disabilities.

His membership in the Straight Edge Society would see him reveal that his friends had got him addicted to prescription painkillers, leading to his previous behavioural traits.

A profile of the Straight Edge Society can be seen below this website, courtesy of the WWE YouTube channel.
