AEW announced earlier today that we would hear from CM Punk on tonight’s (October 29) episode of AEW Rampage.
The show opened with the AEW World Championship Eliminator semi-final match, which saw Eddie Kingston pass out, allowing Bryan Danielson to advance to the final.
After the match, Tony Schiavone was backstage with CM Punk, when an angry Eddie Kingston interrupted and cursed out Punk. The two shouted at each other before being seperated by agents and wrestlers.
This segment seemed to set up Kingston as Punk’s next opponent, presumably at the Full Gear pay-per-view on November 13.
