According to Dave Meltzer in the latest issue of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Cody and The Young Bucks have all received and rejected offers from WWE.
Meltzer notes that the deals were for “main event money, multi year deals for more than seven figures annually”.
The group also confirmed they had rejected WWE’s advances on the latest episode of weekly YouTube show Being The Elite:
For the trio to leave Ring Of Honor then turn down such huge offers from WWE suggests that the proposed AEW promotion is at a far more advanced stage than was previously expected.
Cody is now officially a free agent but the Bucks and Hangman Page are still under contract until January 1, which is the date a major announcement is expected regarding their future.
