Brandi Rhodes, AEW’s Chief Branding Officer, has been a key part of All Elite Wrestling, both in front and behind the camera. However, it seems like a small selection of fans aren’t too happy about seeing Brandi pushed on TV.
Taking to social media, Twitter user @OkamaKazuchika said that, in their opinion, Brandi is actually “becoming worse” than former WWE Women’s Champion, Stephanie McMahon.
“Slowly becoming worse than Stephanie”.
The tweet was in response to the announcement of AEW Heels, an initiative started by Brandi Rhodes and All Elite Wrestling to try and make wrestling a more welcoming place for women.
Unsurprisingly, Brandi Rhodes’ husband Cody didn’t take too kindly to the comparison, sarcastically noting that co-ordinating the new platform for women in wrestling as well as the women’s tag team tournament was such a bad thing.
“Yea coordinating this new platform/the tournament for women…is a terrible thing.”

Say what you want about how AEW has booked its women’s division thus far, but there is no denying that AEW Heels is a fantastic initiative, and will hopefully encourage more women to get into professional wrestling.
