Cody has promised to make a personal change to his in-ring presentation in 2020. The youngest Rhodes took to Twitter today to tease his fans with an announcement soon.
What does this mean? No one really knows for sure.
Maybe it means, he plans on not landing on his face or getting an errant chair shot to his head. He has had a string of collecting unintentional scars in AEW so far.
Excited to make a big change and apply a new strategy to my personal in-ring presentation in 2020. Hopefully I can share the good news soon! @AEWonTNT @AEWrestling #AEW pic.twitter.com/2VJNBe9Bns

However, it could also be something as simple as a change in wrestling gear. Maybe Cody goes back to his old school short trunks and boots he had when wrestling for WWE.
On the other hand, maybe he’s tired of being blond. We’ve seen him change his hair color based on TV and movie roles in the past.
If it’s something to do with his wrestling style, it might not be a great idea. It’s hard to argue with how good Cody has been in the ring in 2019.

The Cody/Dustin match at Double or Nothing was WrestleTalk’s match of the year. His match with Darby Allin was also a top ten contender.
Many also feel his match with Jericho has been Jericho’s best match thus far in AEW. It will be interesting to see what he plans to alter.
The last possible option would be for him to get a new manager or maybe, he’s officially going to start going by his first and last name. Could he be going with Rhodes on his entrance name now? Or maybe he likes Diamond Wolf.
Stay tuned to WrestleTalk as we cover this story as it develops.
