Cody Provides Update On AEW’s Debut In Canada

All Elite Wrestling’s media conference call provided many updates to fans’ questions. One of which is of interest to all of their fans in Canada.

The Wrestling Observer reported the following on Twitter:

Cody says they have talked about Canada in 2020. Loves the country and thinks their first show there will be Toronto, but he loves Abbotsford. Could see them doing multiple shows there. None on books right now though. ^JN

Cody provided an update on when Canadian fans can expect to see AEW Dynamite in their home and native land. He mentioned they have talked about the first show occurring in 2020 and likely being in Toronto. Toronto has a rich wrestling history and a passionate fanbase so it would make sense to bring AEW to Canada’s largest city.

Cody said he could see them doing multiple shows in the country but there is nothing on the books at the moment.
