Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes has commented on his appearance on last night’s WWE Raw with Adam Pearce responding.
Cody Rhodes was seen leaving the Raw GM’s office, sharing a handshake with Pearce, before the champion spotted Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods of the New Day.
As can be seen below this news story, Rhodes was less than impressed with what Woods and Kingston did to Big E on last week’s Raw.
It was a sentiment shared by the fans in Kansas on last night’s show as the New Day attempted to explain themselves initially backstage and then in the ring.
While it’s not clear what Rhodes and Pearce discussed in the Raw GM’s office, it may have something to do with the WWE transfer window and the possibility of the SmackDown star heading to the Monday night show with his championship.
Rhodes has addressed his appearance on Raw in a tweet that read:
“🔥 Incredible crowd! Thank you @ScrapDaddyAP for having me.”
The WWE Raw General Manager would share his thanks in a tweet, stating:
“Appreciate your time, @CodyRhodes.”
Footage has also emerged of Rhodes in the Raw ring after the show went off air.
As can be seen in the footage below, Rhodes is seen bringing a fan in full American Nightmare garb into the ring for a touching celebration.
