Cody Rhodes Addresses Travis Scott Attack At WWE Elimination Chamber WWE

WWE Champion Cody Rhodes has addressed Travis Scott’s attack on him back at the Elimination Chamber event.

The closing moments of the WWE Elimination Chamber event in Toronto last month had the entire wrestling world talking, when John Cena turned heel after 20 years, selling his soul to The Rock ahead of his match with Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania.

Rapper Travis Scott was also in attendance for the show, with him taking part in the angle alongside Rock and Cena, with Scott hitting Cody in the face, giving him a black eye and a busted ear drum.

Speaking on First Take, Cody commented on Scott’s attack on him, noting that he owes him a receipt following the attack.

He said:

“I had made the mistake, a lot of people texted me after concerned because my eardrum burst and the next day I had the full tommy boy spot on my face. I told everybody, ‘He didn’t get me at all.’ Then, I realized there was a nice fan cam shot of how difficult it is.

“Travis Scott, for as talented as he is, and he’s an incredibly talented guy. I even bought his kicks, I got a pair for Liberty as well. Travis Scott uh, kinda sucks. He kind of sucks. Triple H announced he’s coming to WrestleMania, I’ll be looking for what we call in the wrestling business a little bit of a receipt. Payback.”

Cody Rhodes and John Cena are set to main event night two of WrestleMania 41 this Sunday.

Cena is set to make an appearance on tomorrow night’s episode of SmackDown.
