AEW star and Executive Vice President Cody Rhodes has announced that he will be launching his new podcast this summer.
Rhodes will be launching his own podcast, however he won’t be talking about wrestling. On his Community text messaging platform, Rhodes announced his “The Everything But Wrestling” podcast, where he’ll talk about whatever he wants to, outside the ropes.
revealing that the first season discussed Star Wars, Harry Potter and The Office, Rhodes wrote:
EXCITED to announce a little passion project l’m working on – “The Everything But Wrestling” podcast. I speak with friends/family/colleagues about…everything. The first season of episodes feature “Star Wars fandom V Trek fandom” – “B&M V Intamin” “Potter Houses” “The Office” and a few more fun subjects. Coming this Summer!
Rhodes is often discusses fandom opinions on his Twitter, frequently starting heated debates over which Star Wars film is the best (obviously Empire, right?).
He most recently competed in a tag team match with Lee Johnson, losing to Anthony Ogogo and QT Marshall on Dynamite. This week, Rhodes will team with Brock Anderson (Arn Anderson’s son) to take on QT Marshall and Aaron Solow.
