Cody Rhodes Calls Out The Rock Ahead Of WWE SummerSlam

Ahead of the WWE SummerSlam 2024 event, Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes has once again called out The Rock.

At WrestleMania 40 Night Two, Cody Rhodes defeated Roman Reigns to win the Undisputed WWE Championship in the main event. On Night 1 of Mania, The Rock pinned Rhodes in a tag team match featuring Reigns and Seth Rollins.

On the Raw After WrestleMania 40, The Rock and Cody had a face-to-face confrontation where both men teased a singles match between the two. Since then, “The Final Boss” has been absent from WWE TV.

In a new interview with ESPN, Cody Rhodes discussed his match against Solo Sikoa at SummerSlam 2024 and called out The Rock. On his title bout against Sikoa, Cody said:

“This – hopefully, in an entertaining way – is a bit of a repeat of what we got at WrestleMania.

“I defeated the Tribal Chief, the true Tribal Chief, that being Roman Reigns. I look to defeat the pretender, Solo Sikoa, at SummerSlam.”

Calling out The Rock and hoping he watches the show, Rhodes said:

“If you’re also someone in The Bloodline, perhaps named The Rock, I hope you will be watching because if you claim the Tribal Chief mantle next, [the] same thing will happen to you.”

Cody Rhodes will defend the Undisputed WWE Championship against Solo Sikoa in the main event of SummerSlam 2024.
