Cody Rhodes has commented following what he called a “special” night for WWE at the King & Queen of the Ring event in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
In the main event of King & Queen of the Ring 2024, Cody Rhodes successfully defended his Undisputed WWE Championship for the second straight Premium Live Event – defeating United States Champion Logan Paul in an eventful match.
Featuring viral moments, brass knuckles, celebrity interference and more, Rhodes clearly feels proud of what he and WWE accomplished.
Taking to Twitter following King & Queen of the Ring, Rhodes posted a confident message reflective of his ongoing success in WWE.
Rhodes wrote:
Go ahead and move those goalposts one more time
Following up from this, Rhodes would then post a broader message regarding King & Queen of the Ring – calling the event “special”.
Such a special night for the crew – thank you all, ready to get home to my girls
It’s currently unclear as to what will be next for Rhodes in his reign as Undisputed WWE Champion and his status for WWE’s next PLE Clash at the Castle 2024 in Glasgow, Scotland.
What has been confirmed however, is the World Heavyweight Championship match for the event – with full details found here.
