Cody Rhodes Deletes Tweet With Clash At The Castle Return Tease WWE

WWE star Cody Rhodes has deleted a tweet with Clash At The Castle return tease.

On September 3, WWE will return to the UK for a huge premium live event at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Wales.

Earlier today, the WWE UK Twitter account shared graphics for the Clash At The Castle event, asking who has tickets for the show.

Cody Rhodes retweeted the post with the eyes emoji, which led many fans to speculate that The American Nightmare was teasing his return at the event.

The injured WWE star has since deleted his tweet, possibly realizing that most fans were taking it as a tease of his return.

Rhodes has been out of action since June, recovering from surgery to fix his torn pectoral muscle. He last wrestled at Hell in a Cell on June 5, defeating Seth Rollins while hurt.

While WWE stated that Rhodes was originally expected to be out of action for nine months, an upcoming WWE venue has potentially spoiled Rhodes’ return to the ring.
