There was a production botch during the entrance for Cody Rhodes at WWE Clash at the Castle 2024 that got fans online talking.
As the Clash at the Castle premium live event got started on June 15, a funny moment in the introductions for the opening bout.
With Samantha Irvin making the ring announcement for the Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes, fans at home noticed an interesting name on the champ’s title card.
Seemingly having missed swapping out the generic image for one customized for Rhodes, the on-screen graphic read ‘Talent Name’ rather than Cody Rhodes, and the template was set up for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions – you can see the screenshot below.
As the internet is known to do, WWE fans immediately began having fun with screengrabs of the ‘Talent Name’ moment.
In the end, Rhodes was able to prevail after having handcuffed AJ Styles to the ring ropes and threatening to hit him with steel steps that had been brought into the ring, causing AJ Styles to say “I Quit”.
