With today’s shock announcement that both Cody and Brandi Rhodes were not re-signing with All Elite Wrestling, many wondered what the future would hold for the couple.
One of the many hats Cody wore in AEW was running the Nightmare Factory training facility with QT Marshall. According to Dave Meltzer, it appears that won’t be changing.
Meltzer wrote:
“Behind the scenes, both had major positions. Cody was an executive vice president, headed community relations, and was also partners with QT Marshall on the Nightmare Factory training school where he will remain part of.”
A number of AEW stars reacted to the news of the Rhodes’ departure including Marshall himself who wrote on Twitter:
“Cody & Brandi opened the door which led to a lot of my success. Literally changed my family’s life for the better. They are my family. I am forever grateful for that and wish them nothing but the best in whatever they do next! #NightmareFamily”
As previously reported, Cody and Brandi Rhodes are parting ways with AEW after failing to reach an agreement on a new contract with CEO and President Tony Khan.
In a shocking turn of events, it has also been reported that Rhodes and WWE officials are in talks for a possible return to WWE.
