Current Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes has commented on a fan thanking The Elite for the creation of AEW.
In 2019, The Elite’s Cody Rhodes, Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks along with Tony Khan started All Elite Wrestling. Since then, the promotion has become the second largest in the world behind WWE and has showcased many memorable moments as well as matches for the fans of the pro wrestling business.
In 2022, Rhodes left AEW and returned to WWE where he has gone on to headline two straight WrestleMania events and won the Undisputed WWE Championship.
In response to a fan thanking The Elite for creating AEW and changing the world, Cody Rhodes took to social media to say thank you back. He wrote:
Thank YOU. As a fan & wrestler it seems like right now is the best it’s ever been. Welcome back!
