Tony Khan has revealed that Cody Rhodes will team up with Lee Johnson on the September 29 AEW Dynamite against Dante Martin and Matt Sydal.
Khan announced the news on Busted Open Radio today, and also said fans will hear from Thunder Rosa, Jade Cargill and Nyla Rose.
Rhodes and Johnson have teamed together in the past with mixed results, having beaten Peter Avalon and Cezar Bononi, but more recently losing to QT Marshall and Anthony Ogogo.
Martin and Sydal teamed up on Dynamite recently too, in a loss to FTR.
Already announced for Dynamite was a TNT Championship match with Miro defending the title against Sammy Guevara.
Cody Rhodes is heading into next week off the back of a loss to Malakai Black this past Wednesday at Dynamite ‘Grand Slam’.
