All Elite Wrestling (AEW) has taken to social media to announce a match involving two-time TNT Champion Cody Rhodes for next week’s Dynamite.
In what might seem like a bit of a mismatch, Rhodes will be taking on ‘Pretty’ Peter Avalon on Wednesday.
Both men have a 1-0-0 record so far this year. Rhodes beat Matt Sydal on the January 6 ‘New Year’s Smash Night 1’ edition of Dynamite, while Avalon registered a win over Angel Fashion on the January 5 episode of Dark.
Also announced for the next episode of Dynamite are:
- Chris Jericho & MJF vs. Jake Hager & Sammy Guevara vs. Santana & Ortiz
- Matt Sydal & Top Flight vs. Matt Hardy & Private Party
- Adam Page, Colt Cabana, John Silver & Alex Reynolds vs. Chaos Project & The Hybrid2
- An update from Miro and his new butler Chuck Taylor
- Nyla Rose vs. Leyla Hirsch
- Jon Moxley in action
