On last week’s episode of Dynamite, a segment was advertised where Cody Rhodes would address his future for the upcoming AEW Double or Nothing pay-per-view.
On last week’s show, Cody Rhodes defeated QT Marshall, before Anthony Ogogo laid him out with a gut punch and placed the Union Jack flag over him.
On tonight’s show, Cody cut a passionate promo about America, before challenging Ogogo to a match at AEW Double or Nothing. Cody added that Ogogo would not be facing the “American Nightmare”, but for one night only “the American Dream, Cody Rhodes”.
